Join Samara’s Chief Visionary, Dr. Rachel Larimore, on January 22 at 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT for a webinar she’ll be presenting with Dr. Claire Warden, co-author of her new book, Reimagining The Role of Teachers in Nature-Based Learning: Helping Children be Curious, Confident, and Caring. This webinar hosted by Natural Start Alliance will explore the new resource designed for in-service early childhood educators–including infant, toddler, preschool, and elementary providers–interested in more intentional use of nature in their teaching.
In the book, Dr. Warden and Dr. Larimore lay out the many roles teachers play when implementing nature-based strategies, and explore the research and theory behind each role, specific language or behaviors of what that role looks like in practice, and reflexive questions to help educators reflect on their practice.
Register to attend the webinar to learn more about how educators can not only identify, but also embody the many roles played when implementing nature-based strategies.
The webinar is free and open to all. Pre-registration is required. The webinar will be recorded and made available to view on-demand following the live event for those that pre-register.
